Hi, I'm Courtney and I’m so glad you’re here.
Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or dementia isn’t easy, but with the right tools, support, and understanding, it can be deeply meaningful. That’s why I created Empathetic Memory Coaching, to help caregivers and professionals feel more confident, compassionate, and prepared every step of the way.
I've spent the past 15+ years working in senior living, and this work has become my heart’s calling. My journey is personal. Like many of you, my family has walked the path of dementia care. Those experiences continue to shape everything I do, and they fuel my mission to make a real difference in the lives of others.
Through my Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar (ADDC), a nationally recognized course required for those pursuing Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification, I’ve had the honor of training hundreds of caregivers and professionals. My seminars are warm, relaxed, and collaborative, often filled with laughter, real stories, and moments of deep connection. Whether you’re new to dementia care or a seasoned professional, you’ll leave feeling more empowered and equipped to make a difference.
In June 2024, I was honored to receive a letter from PA State Governor Josh Shapiro, recognizing my commitment to supporting Pennsylvania’s senior community. I’m also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), and I earned approval to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for professionals who want to grow in their roles.
But beyond the credentials, I’m someone who truly cares. When I’m not hosting seminars or supporting families one-on-one with senior living transitions, I’m preparing for a brand new chapter of life. My husband and I are expecting our first baby, a little boy, this December.
Whether you're looking to earn your CDP, gain practical dementia care strategies, or simply learn in a space where you feel supported and understood, I would love to connect with you.
Let’s learn together, care better, and build a future rooted in empathy.
